“We are deeply saddened by the passing of former Board of Regents Chancellor Carlos Carballada, who served the Board with distinction for two decades. A devoted public servant and accomplished business leader, Chancellor Carballada made a lasting impact on the people of New York State—especially in Rochester, the city he proudly called home. He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to uplifting communities and empowering those within them. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved him.”
