Empire State Development (ESD) has announced the Global NY Export Promotion Tour, scheduled to take place from September 3 to 11, 2025. The tour aims to connect New York businesses with international markets by bringing representatives from more than fifteen foreign markets to various regions across the state.
The event will include in-person information sessions and one-on-one consultations for businesses interested in expanding internationally. Companies can register for the tour at https://esd.ny.gov/global-ny-trade-promotion-tour.
Hope Knight, President, CEO, and Commissioner of Empire State Development, said, “New York companies are ready to compete and thrive in the global marketplace, and the Global NY Export Promotion Tour is a powerful way to help them get there. By bringing our international representatives directly to businesses across the state, we’re making it easier for companies to explore new markets, grow their customer base, and create jobs at home. This tour is a key part of ESD’s mission to connect local success with global opportunity.”
Representatives participating in the tour come from countries spanning six continents: Africa, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, China, Europe, India, Israel, Japan, Mexico, the Middle East, Singapore, South America, South Korea, and Taiwan.
Each event will feature presentations on global market trends and export opportunities. Attendees will also have access to Q&A sessions and can meet individually with foreign office representatives during pre-scheduled consultations.
Participation is free but requires pre-registration due to limited space. Confirmation emails with consultation time slots will be sent based on program criteria. More information is available at esd.ny.gov/GlobalNY.
The tour includes stops in Long Island; New York City; Mid-Hudson; Capital Region; North Country; Mohawk Valley; Southern Tier; Central New York; Finger Lakes; and Western New York.
