The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension to the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference. The event, scheduled for October 20-22 at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, Florida, will now accept registrations until Monday, September 15, 2025.

The conference’s theme this year is “Leaders and Legends.” According to IAM, the event aims to honor retirees’ contributions while motivating participants for future union activities. The gathering will bring together current and future retirees from across North America to share experiences and discuss ways to increase retiree involvement within the organization.

“This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union.”

Attendees can expect guest speakers, breakout sessions, and opportunities to connect with other members who have contributed to IAM’s history. A special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned for October 22 as part of the program.

“The registration deadline for the conference and hotel has been extended to Monday, September 15, 2025.”

More information about the event can be found on IAM’s official website.
