Dozens of workers from Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico and their supporters gathered at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and at the company’s facility in Aguadilla to protest what they describe as anti-union practices by the company. The demonstrators called on Lufthansa Technik to stop actions they consider attempts to divide workers and to show respect for the employees responsible for maintaining aircraft safety.

According to those present, the rally aimed to deliver a clear message: “stop the union-busting tactics, end the efforts to divide workers, and respect the professionals who keep aircraft flying safely every day.”

The event highlighted ongoing concerns among staff about labor relations at Lufthansa Technik Puerto Rico. Workers say that recent company actions have undermined their rights and workplace unity.

No comment from Lufthansa Technik was immediately available regarding the demonstration or the allegations made by employees.
