Pace University is inviting families to participate in its annual Setter Family Season throughout October 2025. The event aims to bring together students and their families to experience campus life, local attractions, and a variety of seasonal activities in both Westchester and New York City.

According to the university, “Setter Family Season is your opportunity to celebrate Pace Pride while making lasting memories together. From campus traditions and athletic matchups to discounted Broadway shows, local attractions, and seasonal favorites in Westchester and New York City, there’s something for every family. Plan your visit, join your student on campus, and discover what makes the Pace Community so special.”

Events are scheduled across multiple weekends at both the New York City and Pleasantville campuses. Activities include guided tours such as Van Gogh’s Flowers at the New York Botanical Garden, ghost tours in Manhattan, visits to One World Observatory, and several Broadway performances including “Beetlejuice,” “Wicked,” and “Buena Vista Social Club.”

The Pleasantville campus will feature outdoor activities like hikes at Rockefeller State Park Preserve, apple picking at Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm and Stuart’s Fruit Farm, as well as visits to Harvest Moon Farm and Orchard. There will also be opportunities for families to attend athletic events such as women’s field hockey matches against Roberts Wesleyan University and Saint Michael’s College, men’s soccer games versus Franklin Pierce University and Assumption University, volleyball games against Saint Michael’s College, football versus Southern Connecticut State University, and women’s soccer matches with Saint Michael’s College and American International College.

Additional events include trips to Sleepy Hollow for seasonal festivities, shopping at the Pleasantville Farmers Market, screenings at Jacob Burns Film Center, and participation in community initiatives like the Make-A-Wish: Walk for Wishes Hudson Valley.

Families are encouraged to plan their visits according to the schedule of events provided by Pace University. For more information about specific activities or accommodations near campus locations, contact Pace’s Center for Student Engagement.
