Pace University has announced its sixth annual Social Justice Week, scheduled for the week of October 26. The event serves as an ongoing memorial for Pace student Danroy “DJ” Henry and aims to reinforce the university’s commitment to social justice and anti-racism.

The initiative is designed as a community-driven effort, with programming that focuses on equity and justice. According to organizers, the week will include learning activities and dialogue centered on social justice issues. The goal is to provide spaces that challenge white supremacy and other forms of oppression while encouraging meaningful dialogue and action across the university community.

Events during Social Justice Week will be hosted by members of the Pace Community, including students, staff, faculty, departments, and student organizations from all three campuses. Those interested in hosting an event can find more information or apply online. Applications are due by September 26, with a deadline of September 22 for those seeking funding for their events.

Questions about Social Justice Week or requests for additional information can be directed to socialjusticeweek@pace.edu.
