Stony Brook Southampton Hospital to host free symposium for Parkinson’s care partners

Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s Center for Parkinson’s Disease will hold a symposium for care partners of individuals with Parkinson’s disease on November 8. The event, titled “A Day to Connect, Learn and Recharge,” is scheduled from 9:30 am to 3 pm at Chancellors Hall on the Stony Brook Southampton campus.

The symposium is organized by the hospital’s Center for Parkinson’s Disease in collaboration with Stony Brook’s School of Health Professions. The American Parkinson’s Disease Association is co-sponsoring the event, which will be offered free of charge due to their support. In-home caregiver assistance will also be available if needed.
