The event, scheduled for Friday, October 10 from 2 pm to 4 pm, is sponsored by Southampton Strategic Initiatives Leadership.

The outing is designed for students, faculty, and staff at Stony Brook Southampton. According to organizers, participants will have opportunities to explore the local marine environment, learn about sea life, and engage in hands-on activities led by experts from the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences. Snacks and refreshments will be provided during the trip.

Registration is limited to 30 participants. Students are given priority for available spots before registration opens to faculty and staff. Interested individuals must register online by 9 am on Thursday, October 9.

Organizers request that all attendees arrive at the Marine Sciences Station 15 minutes prior to departure so that the boat can leave as scheduled.
